I haven't followed up on Tai Chi, but am think about joining a class.  I was taught it while I was on a tour of China. Each morning, before breakfast on our Yangtze River Cruise, we met on the observation deck at 7 am did the 24 step version.  By the time we were done we were so relaxed and physically loose that we just melted into our seats in the cafeteria.
