Ralphie ★ Posted November 17, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 17, 2018 For her a walk in the park is spending minutes sniffing various spots before peeing on them. I guess certain things just need to be done and someone has to do them. 2
JerrySTL ★ Posted November 18, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2018 I've always wondered what the criteria was for dogs peeing. I guess there's certain places for leaving pee-mail for other dogs to find. 1

I have to pull her away from kids toys and balls and such left on or near the sidewalk before she pees on them.

I remember when I was a kid waiting for the school bus. The neighbor kid set his brown bag lunch down on the driveway while waiting on the bus. Just as the bus was in sight one of the other neighbor’s dogs walked over and peed on it. I remember him trying to rescue sandwiches an apple and some cookies from the peed on bag as we were getting on the bus. When we arrived at school he threw his whole lunch in the trash.
UglyBob Posted November 19, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 19, 2018 Gracie is more involved in the smell creation side of things. She usually waits until she's in my recliner with me before "creating."
jsharr ★ Posted November 19, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 19, 2018 It amazes me how much urine one dog can hold. Romeo will stop and sniff and hike his leg and sometimes I am not sure even a drop comes out, but he still goes through the motions. I am not sure the urine reservoir is not larger.
