So sign of sputtering oil-gas economy

When our condo building is 50% owner occupied vs. a few years ago it was 20% owner occupied. Guess some people have to downsize or they just can't afford the 2nd property.

A new owner who moved in a month ago, told me he downsized from a 4,000 sq. ft. house to a 1,500 ft. condo with his son.  

I didn't want to ask him why.
