BuffJim Posted November 18, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 18, 2018 Walked downtown 3.3 miles and got a snack at the restaurant. Live blues band playing. Gonna walk over to the Chinese takeout and take an Uber home. Yumm. 2

shootingstar Posted November 18, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 18, 2018 Stir fried butternut squash with chili-garlic soy sauce, onions, mushrooms and ginger root. It's actually easy ...my mother's Asian take on butternut squash. Stir frying naturally carmelizes squash lightly. No sugar! With steamed Chinese noodles on side.
Guest Posted November 19, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 19, 2018 Just a little butternut soup. We had a big lunch with friends in Oswego today.
BuffJim Posted November 19, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 19, 2018 BuffCarla made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup today for lunch . Simple Classic but yummy. Every time she makes Campbells tomato soup she tells me her secret is making it with milk instead of water. I have to act amazed every time. That’s how my mom made it, too you see. How much snow was I Oswego? 25 minutes ago, shootingstar said: What is the recipe? Dip in flour dip seasoned with a little old bay or I guess salt/pepper. Then dip in egg and buttermilk wash. Then dip in bread crumbs. Put on greased cookie sheet. Cook at 375 for 15 minutes. Flip. Cook another 15 or until done. We serve them with avacado slices.
