jsharr ★ Posted November 19, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 19, 2018 I rode a Graco MX 1000 back in the day. Got it around 4th grade and rode it until I got a serious BMX bike, my Webco Replica.
Longjohn ★ Posted November 19, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 19, 2018 Heck all it needs is pedals, a seat, a chain, and straighten out the forks a little bit and it’s ready to go.

jsharr ★ Posted November 19, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 19, 2018 Just now, Razors Edge said: So help the guy out! I did not keep any of the parts when I sold it. I would love to have that bike today, even though it was heavy as crap and felt like riding a bouncy ball.
JerrySTL ★ Posted November 19, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 19, 2018 Looks like the right shock on the fork would be the biggest issue.

That damn thing was heavy. Front shocks had to just be springs inside. Rear shocks were springs but had an adjuster ring with about 4 click stops. Rear swing arm had a nylon bushing and was sloppy. Seat was a big old flat thing. Here is what is should look like 1

There is no way you could be competitive on this thing compared to the lightweight BMX bikes that started to be mass produced in the late 1970s would be my guess. I sold mine to get a Webco. Further Posted November 19, 2018 Share #17 Posted November 19, 2018 I'm not a professional bicycle mechanic, but I can't help but notice that it needs a seat. So I suggest that he buy a seat, and then buy a bicycle to put under his new seat. Happy to help.. 1
