Randomguy Posted November 23, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2018 Corned beef hash, pancakes, and hash browns with biscuit gravy on top.
Randomguy Posted November 23, 2018 Author Share #2 Posted November 23, 2018 I think I would like a cup of nice darjeeling before, and maybe puer after. I also think I would really like a runny egg to be dropped on top of the hash.

They would be nice, though, to counter the savory nature of the other items.

I didn't get overly stuffed, which is rare. I tried not to overeat and succeeded, which is also rare. I also had to leave before dessert, which was disappointing.

And a small slice of apple pie a la mode! Glucose was ok this morning so I did alright last night.

Page Turner Posted November 23, 2018 Share #14 Posted November 23, 2018 ...I can only think of one, or at most two restaurants here that make an acceptable corned beef hash. For some reason, it's a dying art.

These fey bastards think that avocado toast is all that and have forgotten what good satisfying food actually tastes like.

Eggs over medium? Might as well have a well-done steak. I will not ruin a good fantasy with egg jerky, sir. I didn't have any of those things, btw.

They have some stuff with long leaves all tied up in a little ball (looks like a sea anemone when you steep it) that makes every cup of tea a celebration. I used to be able to get it at the co-op here, too. I'll check and report back. I've been on a cocoa binge lately. Cocoa was the drink of Aztec royalty.
