Airehead Posted November 25, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 25, 2018 I thought you would get at least a wallop.
shootingstar Posted November 25, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 25, 2018 Most likely it's the same "storm" we got. It didn't get a storm but we got a dump of snow around 5-10 cm.
team scooter Posted November 25, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 25, 2018 We're under a blizzard warning with 6 to 10 inches. So I woke up early to rake leaves, clean up dog doo, pick up gas and check over the snowthrower before the storm. It finally started snowing just now. I think the worst is skirting us to the south. petitepedal ★ Posted November 26, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted November 26, 2018 It went way south of us..not even the Dusting I was hoping for last Wednesday when they started talking about this.
Digital_photog ★ Posted November 26, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 26, 2018 I may be heading north in a few days. Will have to see if Manistee National Forest gets enough for dog sleds.
Kzoo Posted November 26, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 26, 2018 It’s supposed to hit here at 10pm. We’re right on the rain snow line. We might get a couple inches of snow. Supposed to be 5 to 6 at the office. Tomorrow’s commute could be interesting.
team scooter Posted November 26, 2018 Share #9 Posted November 26, 2018 It all depended on your location in the county. At work they closed due to aboot a foot of snew. A bit further north, here at home, we only got a half a foot. Last night when it started to snow, Maggie started jumping at the back door to go out. Apparently we have another snow poodle. Ahh her puppy jest for life just makes me smile.

We should get more this week into the weekend. It could be another good week for riding the fatbike and skiing. Get after it.

Kzoo Posted November 26, 2018 Share #15 Posted November 26, 2018 We got about 3 inches of very wet snow blown by a strong NE wind (which is strange). Every school in 6 counties closed - some areas were forecast for 5 inches - bunch of wooses. OTOH WoKzoo has the day off now. They called school at 4:30am. The commute took an extra half hour (1:30 total). Supposed to stop by mid-day but since my office moved I no longer have a wind'r.
MickinMD ★ Posted November 26, 2018 Share #16 Posted November 26, 2018 We had very heavy rain Saturday and today (Monday). Thank God it's not snow - it would have been 1-2 feet! We got 2" of snow a week ago from what would have been a light rain.
BR46 Posted November 26, 2018 Share #17 Posted November 26, 2018 My flight was secluded to land at 11:30 last night but we flew around in circles for a half hour so they can clear snow at the airport. Part of the airport was and part of Milwaukee was without power. No escalators and only one baggage carousel was working. There was a thousand people standing in the my way of letting me getting my bags and going home. When I get to the north side of Milwaukee the roads were clear all the way home. Guest Posted November 26, 2018 Share #18 Posted November 26, 2018 We are under a storm watch for now. If it comes to fruition we could get 8-16 inches of wet snow. I just came back from up on the Hill, rain is mixing with snow already at higher elevations.
jsharr ★ Posted November 26, 2018 Share #19 Posted November 26, 2018 Still no snow in Dallas. At least I think there is no snow. We see it so infrequently that I may not realize what it looks like. Can one of you snow experts double check this for me?
