This is such bullshit, and is repeated all the time.  You simply cannot manufacture luck, plus why is it that when everyone talks about luck, they actually only mean good luck?

"He is great guy, always making luck all on his own.  Why just this afternoon, he was t-boned in the intersection and almost died.  Lucky bastard".

I remember when a post like this would cause Shammy's head to explode, and there would be 150 posts in an hour.  I miss that threading that the very old software allowed, and the volatility of some of the posters.
