Reverend_Maynard Posted September 19, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2013 There's a MTB trail system near me that doesn't get a ton of early morning use on the weekends, except for me and my group. Turns out that MTB trails are a great place to weave your web overnight. We take turns leading the ride so we can spread the spider encounters out as much as possible. On one ride I had 2 seperate incidents where a spider all of a sudden dropped down on a strand of silk from my helmet visor, right in front of my face. When you're flying down tight twisty single track, it's difficult to have a proper panic attack and swat those bastards away without hitting a tree!
