donkpow Posted December 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2018 A Verizon branded Motorola Droid RAZR XT912. It is not salvageable but there is a 16 GB memory card installed. I don't have a reader so I will have to mount it in one of my other phones. Life is good!

If you have a PC with a USB port, card adapters are dirt cheap. You could even run a virus scanner on it right after plugging it in.

Womaxx's phone has a 128 because she stores so many pictures on her phone without moving them to external storage.
donkpow Posted December 12, 2018 Author Share #7 Posted December 12, 2018 I think the phone came with the card from the factory. I'll get around to looking at the card one of these days. It's the only thing of value that can be saved from this phone.

Not so long ago, anything more than 4 GB was relatively expensive. My Galaxy S7 that I got in March takes up to a 256 GB micro SDHC card. They were over $100 on Amazon but the 128 GB card I got was $39.99, more than enough memory to store a couple weeks of vacation pictures and videos plus a lot more. But after aboot 5 years it would randomly not turn on so I traded it in. Got $200 for it from Verizon. Every phone except my first NEC, has been Motorola. I havn't used an SD card in a phone yet. Only my current & previous had SD slots.
