Popular Post 2Far ★ Posted December 13, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted December 13, 2018 Actually 3 years ago tomorrow, I got my new hip. Just had my xray & follow up. I've had some mild discomfort, doc says its an artificial hip, it will be different than the OEM equipment. I complained about some weakness with raising my knee up. He had me demonstrate range of motion. He sat me in a stiff chair and moved it around. Had me stick it out straight and tested downward strength, then said he was going to let go and for me to hold it suspended straight out. He let go, it didn't move, he said "Go away son, ya bother me." 6

Randomguy Posted December 13, 2018 Share #8 Posted December 13, 2018 Why didn't you just refurbish the original equipment?

Dunno, they used to do a cap on the ball & rotorooter the socket. The replacement is the nuts. All the arthritic pain is immediately gone. Very cool.
