Bike storage.

This stand is for out in the detached garage. It will hold two bikes in only slightly larger space than a single bike will occupy. The over all dimensions are 6' x 24". 12 square feet. It's on casters which is important out there in case when we have to move the bikes out of the way. Nothing special here. Lumber, nails, glue, and screws. Basic construction type things employed. Not making furniture.

Those hooks sold by Lowe's are too weak. They used some kind of soft metal so the hook bends. I need to go find a better set of hooks.

Cool but I don't see the space savings.

It utilizes vertical space instead of floor space. A single bike sitting on the floor takes up like 20" wide by about 68" long. That's about 9.5 square feet of floor space for one bicycle. This contraption hold two bicycles with 12 square feet.
