Is that what we call “Blind Robins”? They sell them in our grocery store in town.  The bars used to have them individually packed in cellophane. You eat those and go home and go to bed you wake up and your mouth smells like you have been eating cat food.

Yeah man it’s called extreme sashimi.  Sometimes the deck hands will cast a line and pull up a yellowtail and then serve fresh sashimi to the guys.

OMG nothing like tuna that was flopping on the deck less than an hour earlier.

If it's like the fish equivalent to beef jerky than that's it.

Fresh it's pretty good, but the way it's usually canned the taste isn't good.

Mackerel has a strong fishy flavor but when smoked it’s really good.  I don’t know if I would eat it any other way.
