Do you have a climb that long to test it on? You need to ride out here in the Rockies and do some long climbs.

This is the first of many sawtooth climbs into Shenandoah Nat Park on Skyline. Up for 4 miles, flat/down for one, up for four, flat/down for one, etc.. Four miles definitely takes me more than 20 minutes. Maybe standing the whole way would help!
dinneR ★ Posted January 16, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 16, 2019 1171 ft? Come on. We can do better.

Of the 3,600 folks who did that segment, 55 have broken 20 min. So, maybe standing, I will be able to break it!!! But this sawtooth layout has a few opportunities, and makes it fun. I don't do strava, not even sure what it is or does. Let's go 6000 ft to 8000 ft.

You can "do your watch" Check your start time and end time. Do some subtraction. BOOM! Strava-lite.
Razors Edge ★ Posted January 16, 2019 Author Share #8 Posted January 16, 2019 But it seems to be a simple one-click step beyond a "relive" vid. My Garmin feeds my Garmin app that feeds my Strava app and my Relive app. It's a feeding frenzy.

Sadly, I missed the sign up window for the 2019 ride Seemed fun, but probably focused on keeping the size manageable until it is a well oiled race. Start small and grow as things get more streamlined.
