MickinMD ★ Posted January 11, 2019 Share #6 Posted January 11, 2019 The news says she escaped from the home (cabin?) where she was being held, an hour or two drive away from her home, asked a man walking a dog to help her, he took her to a friend's home, and 911 was called. She's probably gone through hell the last 3 months but at least she's alive and young enough to eventually return to a normal life. Her parents were killed when she was kidnapped but she has extended family who will care for her.

Kirby Posted January 12, 2019 Share #12 Posted January 12, 2019 Kudos to the woman walking her dog, and the woman at the house that took them in and called the police. Apparently the woman walking her dog was a retired worker with Child Protective Services. The abductor killed two people in his first crime, and I'm sure these people could have been in danger if he found them with her. So glad they were there to help her.

Jeffrey Dahmer was beaten to death in a Wisconsin prison, so dont rule that possibility out yet. https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/jeffrey-dahmer-murdered-in-prison
