I had a like to check and the attached thread seems to be gone.

It happens. It was a polite removal, though.

What's interesting, though, is that any one on Strava not only has all that fairly "redacted" info, but also last names, stated home towns, sometimes age, or GPS coordinates (often originating at or near a home), etc., etc..  So, tens of millions of folks use Strava and I guess we "hide in plain sight" there?  Here, ~100 folks means there is a brighter spotlight on folks.
