Popular Post sheep_herder ★ Posted January 15, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 15, 2019 It is probably 40+ years old, and yes it cost more than any of my bicycles. We've owned it since 1990, and this is the second time it was sandblasted and painted. This style is wonderful for hauling sheep in warm weather, and one can use chipboard to enclose the sides for hauling in winter. 8

Scrapr ★ Posted January 15, 2019 Share #7 Posted January 15, 2019 you have a purty.....trailer. I like the decking. I like to sandblast and start fresh too. We have some bodies that are about 20-24 years old. Some have been on 3 truck chassis 1
jdc2000 Posted January 15, 2019 Share #8 Posted January 15, 2019 Looks nice and probably costs less than a new trailer that wouldn't last as long. The restoration should have been featured on one of the TV restoration shows.
donkpow Posted January 15, 2019 Share #9 Posted January 15, 2019 Needs carpet. I'm thinking wall-to-wall, indoor/outdoor of course. Level loop in earth tones with a bit of green.

They make it much easier to clean after a trip.

sheep_herder ★ Posted January 15, 2019 Author Share #12 Posted January 15, 2019 We've slept in the rear portion more than once when hauling goats from Texas to Montana. We just made sure the front of the trailer was lower than the back during our sleeping period. 1

I'll put rubber mats on the floor before loading animals. The fellow at the store where I checked on new mats was very impressed, and wrote down the name of the company that did the work. Hopefully, they get some more business.
