Gump Posted January 20, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2019 I put an extra 10 gallons of diesel fuel in my tractor this week. Went out to clean snow this afternoon and saw the fuel gauge wasn’t working. Thought maybe the float was hung up. Then I noticed a light green spot in the snow. Looked underneath and fuel is running out the tank drain. The line has a shutoff located near the frame. The line had come apart above the shutoff. I pinched the line off for now and then had to go get more fuel. Probably lost 20 gallons all togethet☹️

Well if you lit it on fire, you'd be adding to the gas house problem. This way you can destroy wild life and contaminate the immediate grounds. I see the allurement. I scooped up 4 5 gallon pails of the worst of it that I will put in our waste oil container at work. Not much else one can do.
maddmaxx ★ Posted January 20, 2019 Share #10 Posted January 20, 2019 Fortunately it was diesel. Most of it was probably sludge laying there on top of the ground.
