Popular Post maddmaxx ★ Posted January 21, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 21, 2019 To tell us that they drove their new Infinity QX60 non stop from New England to their new home in Greenville South Carolina and they just loved it. Their kids had room to spare in the back seat area and the dogs even had enough room in the back for the larger crate. They like the new house but are a bit worried by the lack of "comparables in the neighborhood. They haven't had a chance to introduce the family to the immediate neighbor across the street but they have seen him through his living room window watching them with the big telescope on a tripod. They said one good thing about the move is that the lawyers firm that helped them close on the house also has a criminal division to handle any problems they may have. 2 1 2

MickinMD ★ Posted January 21, 2019 Share #5 Posted January 21, 2019 See if they develop some of the local language quirks like "It's over yonder," or "I reckon" that I often heard when I used to visit that area where an uncle-by-marriage's relatives lived. Maryland college friends of mine from Pennsylvania used to tease us Marylanders of certain language butchering like, "Ahm goan downy Awshun" meaning: "I'm going down to the ocean." But they got jobs in Texas after college, came back to visit a year later and we laughed and laughed at their southern accents and word quirks.
