12string Posted January 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2019 Went to a club to see a friend's band play. Weather was too bad at the start but halfway through the heavy rain started. That just scared people away. There were about 25 people there.when we left, there was one table, about 8 people, with another hour to play. Some of them came wit the band. Not only is that pretty depressing to play, but then they had to pack out in the pouring rain. Felt bad for the guys.

My brother's band Switch (half country/classic rock, half 80's rock) often plays in our cousin Ed's bar/restaurant, The Birdcage, in Linthicum, Maryland on the last Friday of each month. Luckily, Ed's bar has a roof. The food is really good and cheap, too: https://thebirdcage.us/index.html My brother Tim is the bass player on the far end of the 1st (left) picture and in the middle on the other one.
