jsharr ★ Posted January 30, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2019 Ryan has joined a rugby club and I am lost trying to figure out how the offense and defense works. Trying to learn so I can work on strategy with him
Kzoo Posted January 30, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 30, 2019 I can help you there... The offenses job is to get past the defense and score. The defenses job is to stop the offense from scoring. You’re welcome. 1

Chris... Posted January 30, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 30, 2019 Offense and defense intertwine. This isn’t that American football where you get a break 1

Chris... Posted January 30, 2019 Share #8 Posted January 30, 2019 Unlike other sports, referees in rugby are shown a little more respect

Just running drills to practice scissors and loops and other ways to move the ball and defend against those moves. Two on three and three on four type stuff. Then they started working as a whole line across the pitch moving the ball down the pitch. I began to understand, but it is very foreign to what I know about American football. I know that Ryan plays #11, left wing for now.
