Longjohn ★ Posted February 7, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 7, 2019 WOLJ had to cancel all her scheduled scans today. I’m not sure this is wise but I have never had to go through what she does. She says she just can’t do it today. Not sure what the next step is.

Some of the scans where the patient has to drink x amount in y minutes before the scan can be brutal. Womaxx has been through those days as well. Womaxx has been through those days as well. She gets these every three months for the past 23 years, well 13 years at least. They were not scheduling them the first five years and the cancer came back. They treated her and she had yearly checkups without the scans and it came back again and she almost died. Since then it has been every three months. They have caught many re-occurances since then and dealt with them. The scans take most of the day. Some of them she drinks a radioactive cocktail, some she is injected stuff. She has been feeling wonky ever since her treatments in Pittsburg last fall. She has been really bad this week.
