Prophet Zacharia Posted February 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 11, 2019 Hot Chicken. I didn’t have any when I visited Nashville, did I miss out on something great? New restaurant near my workplace is featuring it. Is it a “must try”? I do like spicy foods....

JerrySTL ★ Posted February 11, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 11, 2019 Nashville Illinois is off of I-64 about 50 miles from St. Louis. Not much to see there actually.

I believe the County Music Hall of Fame is there - for Washington County.
team scooter Posted February 11, 2019 Share #7 Posted February 11, 2019 Did someone say hot chicken and Nashville? And biscuits? This place is awsome and the surrounding area has beautiful curvy roads. Hot chicken is their Monday special. Kinda sad our son moved away from Nashville. https://www.lovelesscafe.com/

Parr8hed Posted February 11, 2019 Share #9 Posted February 11, 2019 Nashville Indiana is a cool little hippy place. It is right outside of Brown County state park. Some amazing MTB trails and cool campsites. There is a bew pub there called Bigwood's that brews their own beer and makes great pizza. It is a lot like a smaller Gatlinburg. Very hilly area. I've never had chicken there.

Prophet Zacharia Posted February 11, 2019 Author Share #13 Posted February 11, 2019 So I tried it. There was an open curbside parking spot right across the street, so it was a sign I should go in. It was good. Super spicy, and I like hot, but I am glad I took the recommendation from the cashier to taste “hot” and not “damn hot”. She said almost no one finishes the “damn hot” meal. While I like a challenge, lunch time on a Monday wasn’t the time for it, my stomach is feeling the spice now, as it is. Nice thick chicken tenders, good crunch. Will go again. 1
