Kzoo Posted February 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 12, 2019 Quiet day planned so far. Ice and snow ❄️ for the weather. Schools are closed so WoKzoo gets ANOTHER day off. She hasn’t worked much in the last 3 weeks.

Longjohn ★ Posted February 12, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 12, 2019 The rain is melting all the ice off our vehicles. This might not be as bad as they thought. This is the windshield of my wife’s van.

My wife managed to work yesterday but was in bad shape when she got home. She called off today, we’re not sure what is going on in her body but we will get through this. I don’t have to go anywhere today. I bought groceries yesterday so we are ready.
Kzoo Posted February 12, 2019 Author Share #9 Posted February 12, 2019 We had 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice forecast for last night with expected wide spread power outages in Kalamazoo. We might have gotten 1/8 of an inch. That was mixed with sleet and snow and sometimes a mist of rain. Roads that were not cleared were difficult and roads that were cleared were stripped down to the ice layer. Slow and steady drive to the office. All the schools are closed in the Kalamazoo area - WoKzoo has another day off. She has worked 8 of the last 16 school days.
