sheep_herder ★ Posted February 12, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted February 12, 2019 Yes, that is Tag, the Kelpie. She and Duke are great friends. Duke had surgery and could not play hard for a few days, so today was special for both of them.
smudge ★ Posted February 12, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 12, 2019 Looks like a great winter day! And that hay looks yummy! Is it really that green?? I would love to shove my face in there and inhale so hard I suck all the delicious aroma out of it. Seriously. Now, what sort of surgery did Duke have??

We prefer 3rd cutting grass/alfalfa, but we are now feeding 2nd cutting. We buy from one family, and they know what we like. Neutered, both Lad and Duke had surgery during the last few weeks, Lad's to help clear up a kidney and bladder problem and Duke's, due to the fact he is a DM carrier, the condition that we lost Rusty to a while back. Duke's was planned, but Lad's was not. Both recovered quickly, and both currently have a clean bill of health. Pretty neat that Lad raised his paw to shake hands with his vet as he was leaving after his last visit. 1
