late Posted February 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2019 What I do would take too long to type out. I just started combining fish Omega 3 with Krill pills today. I make a lot of my own pills, I wish I knew how much THC and CBD was in one of my pills. I strongly suggest getting your vitamin and mineral levels tested. You're all deficient in something. donkpow Posted February 13, 2019 Share #18 Posted February 13, 2019 Vitamin D3 under PCP orders Turmeric (with "Bioperine") under PCP recommendation Currently looking at L-citrulline in a attempt to find the system weakness that allows my poor blood pressure control. Interesting thing about this supplement is that folks with hypertension or prehypertension will respond positively to supplementation. Normotensive people will not respond either positively or negatively. I am not responding so that should tell you something. I'll monitor and finish the bottle out. If there is an association between inflammation and high blood pressure (see above), it is likely in acetylcholine or magnesium insufficiency. Looking at those for future exploration. I can drive pressure down with good quality beet juice but I believe that is just boosting nitrates and, ultimately, nitric oxide. One needs to make system balance rather than forcing results with daily supplementation.

It's just that Viagra is much, much stronger. It drives fluid to the outer regions. Which is why some bodybuilders use viagra... I've used it. I don't now because it's less than ideal for guys with high BP. If you do use it, you record BP and HR in the morning before you get out of bed. Just to be on the safe side. I suspect you will also need to fool around with the dose.

Yes, using it as a vasodilator. I am looking at production of NO in the kidneys. Citrulline --> arginine --> nitric oxide. Repeat. I was able to force bp drop with the nitrate available in beet juice. The question then arises, Is the body producing a normal amount of NO on its own? This test should prove that there is sufficient resources for the kidney to produce NO at correct levels for vascular tension control. Or not. Considering "Citrulline Malate" in isolation, it is good for cyclists and other practitioners of aerobic activities. Should give you durability, reduce muscle soreness, .... YMMV. MickinMD ★ Posted February 13, 2019 Share #28 Posted February 13, 2019 The Europeans rightly laugh at Americans and our vitamin tablets and say. "Eat your vegetables!" Since I don't do so enough, I do two vitamin tablets: 1. Centrum Silver Vitamins - recommended by the Johns Hopkins doctor my sister works under and just for general health. My family doctor had me taking 5000 IU's of Vitamin D daily - due to low measurements in WINTER, but my 3-month diabetic blood tests began to show crystals in my urine that stopped when I stopped those massive doses. Centrum Silver has 1000 IUs of D and 120 mg of C, plus enough other stuff to make me think I'm supplementing things by enough. 2. AREDS2 Aging Eye Vitamins - recommended by my ophthalmologist due to some slight thinness noticed in one of my retinas (photoed and examined annually) and a family history of macular degeneration.
