Kzoo Posted May 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2014 You could always give it up and go on welfare. I'm sure your happiness level, along with those of WoRG and BoRG, will increase exponentially.

Kzoo Posted May 27, 2014 Share #13 Posted May 27, 2014 You don't really have to worry until corporate life becomes disenchanted with you. Then I would be concerned.

LoneWolf Posted June 16, 2014 Share #18 Posted June 16, 2014 It really depends on your corporation's philosophy --and if it is a good one (not sayin' it is), how well it is enforced. I understand though. A lot of places where it's a mill that grinds up folks. Some where lip service is given and a good talk about employees being the greatest asset, only to either be untrue, or not held up by middle management (without upper management knowing, or sometimes wanting to know). Finding a job is one thing. Finding a great job, one that makes you happy and creates a desire to stay for years --quite another. Even then, that can change. I had a twelve-year stint at a job where the first nine years were great. I only know that if I find another job I truly love, I'll hang onto it as long as I love it and can afford to pay the bills.
