BuffJim Posted February 23, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 23, 2019 I would love a leisurely drive across the prairies in late summer. Always fancied driving across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. There’s some Canadians who have never even done that.

I've been to all and lived in 3 of those provinces. Only certain parts of Alberta is nice...closer to the Rockies. Flat prairie otherwise, is ...flat prairie.
MickinMD ★ Posted February 23, 2019 Share #7 Posted February 23, 2019 I've been to Ontario and British Columbia. Both would be fine places to live. I think I'd like the weather better in Vancouver, B.C.
Further Posted February 23, 2019 Share #8 Posted February 23, 2019 One of my current fantasies is a road trip through the maritime provinces, I vacillate between motorcycle & van. Another fantasy is a road trip around the great lakes. You can tell I'm old, my fantasies used to be much more personal and travel was something I just did. Even with rain! Loved the trip to visit my brother in Cincinatti - southren Ohio has some kickass twisty mountain roads.

Wilbur ★ Posted February 23, 2019 Share #11 Posted February 23, 2019 Any maritime province is fine by me but BC is the most spectacular. It is unfair to leave out the territories so I will add Yukon.
