Former member Posted May 23, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted May 23, 2014 hey, bosox, it just hit me... you're back on the bike again! for just over a month now(600miles). I've gained back almost 20 pounds and some of the muscle mass I lost in my legs. My HR is sky high, and I'm still about 2mph slower, but I was about 5 or 6mph slower than before the wreck. This is my new ride

az_cyclist Posted May 23, 2014 Share #10 Posted May 23, 2014 thanks I wonder how long it will be until I'm back to where I was. I would say you are well on your way. You have 5 weeks or so before we get significant humidity, but dont push it .
Road Runner Posted May 24, 2014 Share #11 Posted May 24, 2014 27.2 miles @ 17.7 average on a perfect day. 75F and no wind. I felt like a kid again on my bike. Back when I was just 50. If I hadn't caught so many lights, I might have hit 18 average today. Still, 17.7 is my best so far this year. Lifted weights. Chest and triceps day. 4 exercises, 4 sets each. Old man weight.
