shootingstar Posted March 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2019 So a nephew (I have several different nephews from different sisters), just landed a paid work co-op /internship placement …..in San Francisco. He will be part of team working on software for driverless car. Man, what a lucky Canadian young man from Toronto...he probably has to work lots. Cheap labour for the firm. He'll be there for 4 months. He is majoring mechantronics….it is an engineering discipline at 1 of the universities: blend of mechanical engineering and robotics. It really always ends up being "more or less often than the alternative". The dude in the Tesla crashing into the side of a semi is a good case. All the details not fully sussed out and developed around yet, BUT we ought to have some pretty good stats by now on whether a car like a Tesla has more or less various issues than a comparable non-semi-autonomous vehicle. Stats will bear stuff out over time.
