Prophet Zacharia Posted March 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2019 I am stuck in a hotel in Chicago because I couldn’t find a flight into Pittsburgh from anywhere in the country on Sunday. My original flight was cancelled due to weather, and everything else seemed to be sold out or cancelled. I don’t even think it snowed that much? sheep_herder ★ Posted March 4, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 4, 2019 Sounds like you got caught up in the 'ripple' effect. I've been caught in the west when there were storms on the east coast that delayed incoming flights, etc. Good luck on getting home.
KrAzY Posted March 4, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 4, 2019 Nah.. Texas is getting cool but no snow here. Supposed to be a cool 11°f tomorrow morning. I'll still wear shorts and a t-shirt.

Prophet Zacharia Posted March 4, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted March 4, 2019 It’s 3 degrees tonight in Chicago, and all I have are shorts and t-shirts.
groupw Posted March 4, 2019 Share #6 Posted March 4, 2019 My daughters got delayed driving here by avalanches in the Rockies. We’re supposed to be here late evening. Now looks like around 7 am.
Kirby Posted March 4, 2019 Share #7 Posted March 4, 2019 We got about 8 inches of snow. The roads are messy enough that I can justify working from home, but today is the first day of free snacks, so it's a bit of a dilemma. Pretty sure there won't be any left by tomorrow. 1
Prophet Zacharia Posted March 4, 2019 Author Share #8 Posted March 4, 2019 I had thoughts to fly to Cleveland and rent a car to drive home last night, but figured a night in Chicago would be easiest.

I was underwhelmed with the amount of snow on the ground that had kept from flying in on Sunday.
Longjohn ★ Posted March 5, 2019 Share #14 Posted March 5, 2019 Pennsylvania has started acting like the southern states. They must be jealous of them. I never saw them shut down the interstates as much as they have this year. The schools announce a two hour delay if snow flurries are predicted.
