Should I be proud or angry?

My sister was talking to my kids recently, basically a discussion on parenting skills & such.  She had some preconceived notions on how to parent (this sister had no kids). Anyway she asked them if your parents are your friends. My son says my dad isn’t my friend, he’s my dad.

In truth, this is what I told him.  Don't send stuff like that to me.  When he crosses a line, I let him know.  But the the whole sammich thing made me think of this place.  I did not tell him that.

A father models behaviour for son.  He really does.  If father treats, speaks and views women with respect....it's abit easier to show this to son AND daughter....over and over, if father shows the boundaries of sexual jokes.
