Always wear underwear in public

A couple went shopping at the mall recently but when they got there the car broke down.  The husband told the wife to go ahead and take care of the shopping while he took care of the car.

Upon returning to the car in the parking lot, the wife found a crowd of people standing around and a pair of hairy legs sticking out from under the car.  Although wearing shorts, it became painfully obvious that the private parts attached to the legs were in plain public view.  Being a proper wife the woman quickly bent over and readjusted all the parts to be properly out of sight.

Upon standing up the woman looked across the car to see her husband standing at the edge of the crowd.  He was fine, but the mechanic under the car needed 3 stitches in his forehead.
