There's one double double that's in bloom, but it's a special Valley hybrid, tailored for our early springs to avoid wilting in the warmer weather to come. Azaleas and Rhodos are what I miss from the West coast. My parents had some that about 20 feet diameter and very full. I planted one in Toronto and watched it thin out and die over 5 years.
