Crudites

Recommended Posts

She has had the same thing every evening for dinner. I was working on our taxes and was late fixing her supper. I didn't take a picture tonight because it looked the same, sweet red and yellow pepper strips, celery, black olives, cucumber, and a few slices of pickled beets served with some Ranch dip. It's what she craves, I like that better than when she first had her treatment and was just eating junk food.

She seems to be doing a good job listening to her body. How are you getting protien in her?

She wanted a fish sandwich for lunch. She’s not wanting a whole lot of protein. With the crudités I give her a baby Bella cheese. She has had hot sausage and kielbasa sandwiches for lunch too. Not my thing but I fix them for her.

Broccoli is a superfood, good for healing up.

The 2 things I would change in this recipe would be to use chicken bone broth (good for healing) and more brocoli. Set some of the florets aside, but puree the bulk of them. Trader Joes sells bags of ground up broccoli, and bone broth...
