MickinMD ★ Posted March 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2019 I was having a good day. I walked Jake 2 1/2 miles and my inner ear-related, intermittent balance problem never occurred during the walk. Then I did some shopping, the last stop: Walmart. On March 8th I spent $27.28 at Walmart, paid with my cellphone through Walmart Pay (uses my 2% cash-back Citi Mastercard), and submitted the receipt to it's Saving Catcher. I got $2.10 back. So today spent $36.38 but only had to charge $34.28 to my credit card after redeeming the $2.10. But my good day was lessened when these words appeared on the Walmart checkout screen: "The Savings Catcher Program will be discontinued on May 14th." If a price was a little high, I haven't had to pass it up and check at other stores: I'd still get the lower price through the savings catcher even if I paid more for the thing at Walmart. The end is too bad: I've gotten $320.41 back with the Savings Catcher in last 4 years and 1.75 months. Not enough to pay for a cruise, but enough to be worthwhile!
