A scientists was studying some carnivorous prairie dogs. He noticed some odd behavior, and it took him a while to figure out. I thought that was fascinating, there is nothing unusual in howling at the Moon, but for the carnivores to be so small that the howling is beyond the range of human hearing, that is extraordinary.
