petitepedal ★ Posted March 24, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2019 So today marks 1 year since I started with a pounding headache that ended up being the Shingles. I still have itch...and tend to stay away from necklaces... I have had the two part Shingles shot and I am hoping you folks get the shots too. I was miserable for weeks!! Rattlecan ★ Posted March 24, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 24, 2019 Shingles is evil. I had a bout of it before I turned 40, and my son was even younger when he got it. He was only 34, so it's not exclusively an old people's ailment. I finally got a shot a few weeks ago, but the doctor told me it's only 50 to 60% effective, so I've really only improved my chances, not completely eliminated the risk.
