Not worrying about anything but comfort while cycling for exercise, I got a nice, not-too-wide-in-the-front, padded, spring-loaded saddle so my butt doesn't feel like if is spanked every time the no-shocks back wheel dropps off a curb and I got wide handlebar grips that my palms can rest on so my hands don't go to sleep while I'm riding. I also added a rear-view mirror at the end of the handlebar since my slower mountain bike is often quickly passed by road bikes on paved bike trails and I don't like being surprised. With those three things and a free fitting from a competitive mountain biker when I first got the bike, I ride in unanxious comfort!
