maddmaxx Posted April 15, 2019 Share #6 Posted April 15, 2019 No students at womaxx's school either but as staff she still has work to do. Ysoomaxx is also working days instead of evening shift at the school so I have the house to myself Once the rain slows or stops I think I'll do a bit of grocery shopping. I want Swordfish or Tuna steaks.

Longjohn Posted April 15, 2019 Share #8 Posted April 15, 2019 We have our beautician coming over to do Esther’s hair (what’s left of it) this morning. I have to make a run to town later, drug store, groceries, bank, etc. I’ll get to check out the storm damage in the neighborhood. My neighbor had a large pine tree blow over and block the road. That’s what I heard him cutting up with a chainsaw in the middle of the storm. When he got about halfway back the trunk of the tree it stood back up. 1 1

az_cyclist Posted April 15, 2019 Share #14 Posted April 15, 2019 Have not decided yet. worked 32 hours last week so that means 8 this week. I need to take the new Domane (new since January) to the LBS for derailleur adjustments, and for an adjustment on the saddle angle. 2Far Posted April 15, 2019 Share #22 Posted April 15, 2019 Finished up a site-specific plan for an upcoming project. Took a conference call about a worker who may have had a hernia come up while walking down the stairs at one of our sites Talked to the new guy in the warehouse. Reviewed the new Drug & Alcohol policy that came down from on high. Sitting at Great Clips waiting to get a haircut. TBD: write an email asking for clarification on one sentence of the D&A policy which I think (grossly) violates ADA. Got to recalibrate a few 4-gas meters for some upcoming shutdowns. Nothing spices up a bike forum than some bike pics and/or discussion of bikes.

Road Runner Posted April 15, 2019 Share #27 Posted April 15, 2019 I have spent the morning cleaning up from last night's storms. My Dogwoods aren't as bloomy today as a result of the strong winds and heavy rain.
Longjohn Posted April 15, 2019 Share #28 Posted April 15, 2019 When in town today I bought a couple 24 oz steaks and some mushrooms. Cooked the steaks on the grill and baked some potatoes. I also cooked a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. WOLJ didn’t want any veggies but she ate her whole steak, shrooms, and potato. it’s good to see her eating again. 2
Digital_photog Posted April 15, 2019 Share #29 Posted April 15, 2019 Started the day with a call from a neighbor that our horses were out of their pasture. The storms Sunday broke the electric wire that ran to our tool shed. That left the electric fence with no charge so we got to put horses back in and build fence at 6 am. Then took one of the dogs and one cat to their annual vet appointment. After that the trip to Bridgman, MI to take the sheep fleeces to the wool mill. Back home and helped WoD_P prepare some blackberry wool dye then evening chores. That took a little extra time with a new foal on the ground.
JerrySTL Posted April 15, 2019 Share #30 Posted April 15, 2019 I had an OK day at work and was just about to leave for a bike ride. That's when I got the phone call.... "I accidentally somehow deleted 220,000 records out of a table. Could you get them back for me. They are important." If they are so damned important, why did you delete them? There went the bike ride, but I did walk 2 miles after work.
