There is also another section from Ashton to Tetonia: https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/ashton-tetonia-trail I feel compelled to tell you that I want to go now -- Bitch Creek lingers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitch_Creek
jdc2000 Posted April 18, 2019 Share #52 Posted April 18, 2019 Still too much snow now. It will be May before those 2 trail sections are clear to cycle on.

State line rd, kind of depends on which lane you are in. Alta, can't get there from here. It's in WY, but you have to go to Idaho to get there. It's all good. Just come visit.
Dottleshead ★ Posted April 18, 2019 Share #58 Posted April 18, 2019 I almost bought a Salsa once. I was looking for some Shamano 105s but the year I went to go buy they downgraded. I found a Jamis Aurora Elite which didn't have it either that I was quite happy with.

Dottleshead ★ Posted April 18, 2019 Share #64 Posted April 18, 2019 So flying into the Hole worth it? It would shave off 12 hours by car but a single round trip I think is like $450 and I am going to need a couple of those. Now that I'm rich... wife is employed... I'd rather spend my time there. And the view at landing is impressive if you've got a window seat Teton side. $450 seems reasonable. You'll either go through SLC or DEN. Not sure if anyone flies direct from Seatac. If you drive, Baker City is about half way. Not a bad little town. Yakima valley is beautiful.

I know I-84 and I-90 well.
