As amazing as he is, he still has to win 60 more games to tie Ken Jennings for longest winning streak.  Very doable, but a long way to go.

Every time I think, oh, this is a tough one, like ona Daily Double, he just spits the answer right oot. :D  You can tell that some of the time he is guessing. That he can make a living as a professional gambler is a huge benefit for this game!

It is like he is pantsing his opponents. :D

And he just won ONE MILLION dollars!  He can afford sharks with fricken lasers on their heads if he wants them!

If he keeps winning at his current rate, he will have won $5.5 million when, and if, he ties Jennings record 74 wins.

So who took down Jennings, and are they somewhat famous?  Are we going to honour Cheese's wishes tomorrow?

Here we go!

Nancy Zerg

That record is currently in danger of being broken by James Holzhauer -- no other contestant had exceeded 30. Jennings is also the second highest-earning contestant in American game show history. In 2004, Jennings won 74 consecutive Jeopardy! games before he was defeated by challenger Nancy Zerg on his 75th appearance.

After his response was revealed to be incorrect, the audience audibly gasped and it caused Nancy to be shocked after finding out that she won. He was awarded $2,000 for his second-place finish, which gave him a final total of $2,522,700 for his run on Jeopardy!. Zerg, whom Jennings called a "formidable opponent," finished in third place on the next show. The audience gave a standing ovation in honor of both contestants, and Trebek called Zerg a "giant killer" as Jennings embraced her.

That's why I say that no matter how good you are, if everything lines up against you in one show, such as the categories, missing the DDs, screwing up Final Jeopardy, you can be beaten by someone of far less talent and knowledge.  Still a lot of luck in Jeopardy.  But to beat James, even with the luck on their side, his opponents need to be well above average, I think.  He is that good.  Better than Ken, IMO.
