Bless This House is sort of a modern version.  I am off tomorrow so I could stay up and watch, and they reran the premiere just for me at 8:30.  I like the Ed Begley Jr character.   The protagonists are pretty likeable too, just like Oliver and Lisa.

I'll have to check it out also.  I hope its not a mandatory-sex-joke-every-30-seconds show. I enjoy it occasionally but not it serves as a replacement for a decent plot.

My favorite show besides Game of Thrones is The Orville, where the stories revolve around things like going to the planet Moclus to watch Bortus pee.

It might be close but I don't think so.  Although it does remind me a little of The Neighborhood.  I just enjoy how it is green acres exactly but modernized.
