I've seen two in our back yard in the last week. I've had feeders up for them for nearly a month.

My hummingbirds come to the window and look in to make sure I know they are back. I have three feeders out right now to minimize the fighting.

My wife had me help her get out on the back deck today. She was tired of being cooped up in the house. She took some pictures. Our deck is an airport.

Is that a Baltimore Oriole ?

Nice pictures, and I envy you your deck.

The lake I hang around used to have a dozen or more broods of geese and ducks. This year there is one brood of geese and they were pretty big before I saw them. There are a lot more Osprey & Eagles now, and an early spring goose hunting season, so fewer geese.

I miss the goslings but not the goose poop..

Yes, we have at least six nesting pairs in our pine trees and they love hummingbird feeders. I filled that one in the picture twice today. They can’t get anything out of the ones with the bee guards on them. Those work ok with the humming birds because they have skinny peckers that can reach through the bee guards. Mostly the humming birds share the feeders with the orioles because the nectar is always fresh.
