Page Turner Posted May 26, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 26, 2019 ...link posted for my friend, @Randomguy. I have never paid much attention to nether regional fur, but he seems to be fixated on it. Quote How to care or not care for pubic hair has not been studied. We know that removing pubic hair is associated with injuries — burns from hot wax, for example, or lacerations from razors. Infections from injuries or ingrown hairs can also happen. There is also data that suggests pubic hair removal may be associated with an increased risk of transmission of some sexually transmitted infections, or STIs. It is possible that the infection risk rises because the removal of pubic hair creates an easier portal of entry for some bacteria and viruses. It is also possible that pubic hair removal could change the microenvironment of the vulva in a way that reduces natural defense mechanisms. This association between pubic hair removal and STIs could also be correlation and not cause and effect.

onbike1939 Posted May 26, 2019 Share #3 Posted May 26, 2019 My mane of unruly pubic hair has always been a quiet source of pride to me I confess. I've often wondered what the public reaction would be if they knew that at different times, under my conservative slacks there existed a cornucopia of hairstyles.........dreadlocks....Mohicans....... the occasional side-parting pompadour and best of all the glorious full mane with highlights. 2

groupw Posted May 27, 2019 Share #11 Posted May 27, 2019 I had heard that pubic lice had declined. They suggested it had to do with the popularity if grooming. Little crabs have nowhere to hide!
