sheep_herder ★ Posted June 7, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2019 Might be the reason for the funny camera angle. Radar indicates the forecast might be correct. Think I'll go park the VW in the red building.
Wilbur ★ Posted June 8, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2019 Download the Storm Radar app. Looks like it split just prior to Miles City.
Kirby Posted June 8, 2019 Share #3 Posted June 8, 2019 It's still a good idea to bring all the animals into the living room! 1 1

sheep_herder ★ Posted June 8, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted June 8, 2019 No worry on this end. Fed the critters, moved the car, and now time to eat and mess with the computer. I use the NOAA radar via the computer, but it must have split while I was outside doing chores. Just a bit of rain fell while the dogs and I were outside.

Plus, I normally, do not carry my new phone when doing chores. That stopped when I gave up my flip phone. Just check the computer periodically. We may still get some rain.

sheep_herder ★ Posted June 8, 2019 Author Share #10 Posted June 8, 2019 From the passing storm. It was too big to get both ends with a 24mm lens. 3

It is a 2009, and I will be able to get permanent plates on it next year. So yes, I pull it inside when there is a chance of hail, and I have time. No need to have all the vehicles totaled. 1 1
Dottleshead ★ Posted June 8, 2019 Share #12 Posted June 8, 2019 Do they offer "hail insurance" straight up?

Not sure, but it is included in car insurance and our home owner's policy. I didn't fix the pu or jeep when they were totaled. We took the money and ran. We'll see what happens with the houses, if we get hit again, as both have new roofs, and the the country place has new siding.
Kirby Posted June 8, 2019 Share #14 Posted June 8, 2019 I still think you should bring all the animals in, just to be safe. 1
sheep_herder ★ Posted June 8, 2019 Author Share #15 Posted June 8, 2019 Still raining lightly, and it appears we've gotten about 0.25" so far. Radar shows more is coming.
