No (minimal) internal infrastructure for me, I am hotspotting it now.  It seems nice.  Not only no cord, but also no "line" into the apartment.

I have a mobile hotspot I bought in China.  It probably spies on me but it is cheap internet access, in 60 countries of the world.  Very fast and wireless.

I didn't think it would be this good.  Connection seems the same, even on this ancient computer.  

It is easy to see that more and more people are going to choose this path rather than deal with cable providers for broadband.  I know they are most often the same as the wireless folks, but you have a host of benefits.  Nobody to come out to your place to set you up, no router to rent or buy, portability, and much cheaper.  Seems too good to be true.
