Green Screens

I'm usually disappointed when I click on those :stories" listed alongside ABC, USAToday, etc. news articles like, "Celebrities that went bankrupt," that take you to a long list of pictures with advertisements arranged so you'll make a lot of clicks (and produce advertisement dollars) but one called Green Screen Photos was pretty interesting  https://www.daily-choices.com/green-screen-photos-show-us-how-hollywood-really-works).

Here are several examples:

Game of Thrones: Daenerys riding a dragon:

I am not certain why the emphasis on green screens. Those are just plain layers masked over and super-imposed. In the first one, the green is immaterial as the dragon fully covers. A green screen might have been useful to extract just the dragon with clean lines to layer onto the original. Likewise with the last one, the green panel is just a distraction. Copy/Paste the horse/rider/shadow to new layer on the second photo, and transform for scale to match perspective.
