Where were you when I was building this darn thing up? I feel like I am riding uphill all the time ? 2
Page Turner Posted June 15, 2019 Share #5 Posted June 15, 2019 ...where is the gravel ? Never mind, I see it now in the bigger photo: That reminds me of every depressing urban playground and Catholic school recess yard I ever visited as a child. No wonder inner city youth are all in gangs.

Going through downtown, I frequently see bikes in need. This bike more than likely belongs to a needy person.
Tizeye Posted June 15, 2019 Share #7 Posted June 15, 2019 It doesn't have an electric motor on it, so can't be Razor's.

Not all of us are tech titans like @late or @Dottie. I have to earn my pay and can't be blowing it on an e-bike all willy nilly.

Then, with a little scavenging of the neighborhoods, you should have a pretty sweet ride.

I thought my crown as a curmudgeon was secure. I would never have spent 3K on an ebike. But at 2K, the deal was too good to pass up, and it did blow a good sized hole in my fun money. So... I'd say willy, but not nilly. One of the things I learned slowly, over the course of my life, is that bikes are worth the money. I don't mean the new trend in crazy expensive, but serious money for the working slob I used to be. Buying my Gunnar Sport was one of the best moves I ever made. Looks like the front wheel is where the action is at, and if one of those bikes happened to disappear, it might make a nice starting point for a "starter" e-bike.
