WOLJ and I will probably eat at the Margarita King again. It’s on the way home from church and the handicap parking is right outside the door. Good food and service. It’s so good to be able to eat out with my wife again. 1

ChrisL Posted June 16, 2019 Share #10 Posted June 16, 2019 I got a tri tip marinating with some chicken breasts as my wife & SIL aren’t big beef fans. Sautéed shrooms asparagus & sweet potato’s. Although I’m off the hook for cooking today Im probably gonna have to cook it anyway. I actually would prefer to make it so it tastes good... 1

I moved 4 frozen chicken thighs, enough for two meals, into the refrigerator to thaw 2 days ago so I better bake them today. The veggies will either be a nuked bag of steamable frozen cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and beans or Rice-A-Roni with onions, peas, and broccoli added. Popular Post BuffJim Posted June 16, 2019 Popular Post Share #14 Posted June 16, 2019 Growing up Sunday Dinner was a big deal. We ate in the dining room, with China and cloth napkins. Nearly all other meals were in the kitchen. Roasts were common. Put them in before church and served right after we got home. There was always a longer than normal prayer, and always dessert. Pies and cobblers were typical. My mom’s apple crisp, served warm with ice cream, was legendary.
